Transfer from other universities
Information on transferring to the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev from other universities
The transfer of students to the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev from other universities is regulated on the basis of the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 13, 2016 No. 25 “On approval of the Rules for transfer and reinstatement to military and special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan”
The procedure for transferring to the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev:
Transfer of students to the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) is carried out from course to course, from one form of education to another, from one language department to another, from one specialty to another, from other higher education organizations.
The transfer of students from one special educational institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to another special educational institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the presence of vacant admission places, is carried out with the consent of special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The transfer of students from other higher education organizations to vacant admission places at the Academy is carried out on a competitive basis during the holiday period based on the results of the summer examination session (interim certification), taking into account the results of the academic year and the average grade point not lower than the transfer score established at the Academy for the same course at availability of vacancies in the relevant course.
A candidate for study who wishes to transfer to the Academy from other higher education organizations submits a free-form application for transfer addressed to the head of the Academy.
The following documents are attached to the transfer application:
- A copy of the application for transfer to the Academy and written consent to transfer from the previous educational institution, signed by the head and sealed;
- A copy of the transcript signed by the vice-rector for academic affairs and the office registrar and sealed;
- Certificate of passing the Unified National Testing (hereinafter referred to as UNT);
- A copy of an identity document;
- Certificate of educational grant holder (if any)
If there are vacancies in the relevant course, within three working days the Deputy Head of the Academy for Academic Affairs issues a conclusion on transfer to the Academy.
A copy of the conclusion is sent to the personnel service of the territorial internal affairs body at the place of residence of the candidate for study
Transfer procedure from civilian universities
Personnel service of the Department of Internal Affairs:
- Organizes preliminary examination of the candidate for study;
- If the candidate for study meets the requirements of clause 42 of the Rules for admission to military and special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, implementing educational programs of higher education, approved by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 26, 2016 No. 77 (42. Candidates for While studying to determine suitability for service, they undergo medical and psychophysiological examinations, including a polygraph examination, as well as a mandatory special test), the personnel service sends to the Academy the personal file of the candidate for study and an application with a guarantee of employment after graduation.
The Academy sends by mail within five working days a personal file, copies of the conclusion, transcript, working curriculum, certificate of passing the UNT to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan to coordinate the issue of transferring the candidate to study at the Academy.
The translation materials submitted by the Academy are reviewed by a commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs once a year.
Based on the results of consideration of the materials, the commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs makes a decision on transferring the student to the Academy or refusing to transfer within fifteen working days.
Based on the decision of the commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, by order of the head of the Academy, the candidate for study is enrolled in the number of students of the Academy.
The head of the Academy, within three working days from the date of issuance of the order to enroll the candidate for study among the students of a special educational institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, sends a written request to the organization of higher education where the candidate for study previously studied to forward his educational record. The request is accompanied by a copy of the order of the head of the Academy on the enrollment of the candidate for study among the cadets.
