This year marks the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. A thematic book exhibition "Urpakka uran bolgan – Uly Zhenis" has been designed in the reading room of the Academy. The materials of the exhibition tell about the great feat of the army and the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, about the contribution of our republic to achieving victory over the enemy. A special place is occupied by publications telling about the heroic feat of soldiers-natives of Kostanay region, about the labor feat of residents of the republic and the region in the rear under the motto "Everything for the front, everything for victory!". The exhibition presents a "Book of Memory" about the soldiers of the Kostanay region who died in the Second World War, as well as documentary materials, memoirs, memoirs of war participants and our contemporaries.
