Internet addiction has long been a recognized psychological disease, and social media addiction is a new form of it. The reasons for this phenomenon are quite understandable: every person has obvious and hidden needs that he seeks to satisfy - it may be the need for communication, self-realization, saving time or something else, and the social network gives a sense of satisfaction of these needs. We talked about this and other "pitfalls" of social networks at an online meeting with an expert analyst, the head of an IT project from Astana, Alexander Antipin. Event on the topic: "The impact of social networks: imperceptible threats to your life" was organized for 1st year cadets of the Faculty of Vocational Training by Senior inspector-psychologist of the Department of Educational and Personnel Work, Police Lieutenant Colonel Saule Baigabulova, together with the Department of Internal and External Communications.
