Today, at the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev, a minute of silence was observed in memory of police Captain Gaziz Baitasov, who heroically died at the hands of an armed suicide bomber. He became the first policeman to be awarded the highest award "Halyk kaharmany" posthumously. His feat is the embodiment of the highest ideals of the police service, as well as a shining example for all police officers and the younger generation, our cadets. Gaziz Baitasov's name is forever "stamped in golden letters" in the history of the Kazakh police, his heroic act will serve as a vivid example of courage, heroism, selfless love for the Motherland and his people for all generations.
