Olga Dobroserdova, an international probation expert from Latvia, and representatives of the United Nations on Drugs and Crime in Central Asia Ilyas Nurmaganbetov and Kayyrzhan Zhukenov arrived at the Kostanay Academy on a three-day working visit. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss a number of issues related to working with those convicted of violent extremism and foreign terrorist fighters after their release from prison. Within the framework of the program of the review mission, meetings were held with the leadership of the Academy, teachers of the Center for the Training of Probation Service Specialists and the Center for the Training of Specialists in the Criminal Justice System for Countering extremist Ideology, they got acquainted with the work of the departments of administrative Law and penal enforcement law. The guests also visited the museum from afar, the Scientific and Educational Center for the Study of the Rules of Nelson Mandela, visited the UIS training ground.
