Gratitude Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan on March 1. The holiday has become an expression of mutual understanding, friendship and harmony between the peoples of our country. In the reading room of the Academy, librarian Kalamkas Argingazina designed a book exhibition and conducted a literature review "Deportation of peoples to Kazakhstan in the first half of the twentieth century." The publications presented at the exhibition reflect the tragic pages of the history of the deportation and resettlement of Koreans, Germans, Chechens, Ingush, Poles, Latvians and other peoples to Kazakhstan, the role of the Kazakh and other peoples of the republic in the formation and development of modern Kazakhstan. The publications telling about the peoples living in our Kostanay region, about the work of the regional branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan are most fully reflected. The exhibition presents memoirs and memoirs of eyewitnesses of those events, photographic materials, articles from periodicals.28_01_1.jpg28_01_2.jpg
