"Remember and be proud of your history" is one of the main messages of the Thanksgiving Day holiday, which is celebrated on March 1. It is no secret that the modern multinational family of Kazakhstan is the result of several migration waves, when entire peoples were deported to the Republic in different years. Vasilisa Vasilyevna Kim, as a child, together with her parents, survived deportation from the Far East to the Kazakh land. On the eve of the Day of Gratitude, she became an honorary guest of the Kostanay Academy. At a meeting with the 1st year cadets of the Faculty of Vocational Training, Vasilisa Kim told about the events of those years and expressed gratitude to the Kazakh land, which became her second homeland.
